Last week most of the Zeligate team headed down to Sydney to attend the AWS Summit. We loved hearing the Keynote on day 2 discussing how organisations shouldn’t burden themselves with an AI strategy and/or transformation strategies. Instead, they should test and evolve their use of emerging technologies such as AI so they can stay ahead of the curve. We were reminded that the adapt-learn-adapt methodology is key to embracing AI technology. This perspective shifts the narrative from mere transformation to a more dynamic evolution, aligning closely with our approach to AI development and application.
A couple of the Zeligate developers shared their inspirations from the summit, focusing on the importance of exploring new technologies and the vibrant developer community. Their experiences underscore the value of mutual learning and support, inspiring us to deepen our engagement with tech communities and contribute to collective growth.
Our team loved how Generative AI is quickly evolving to Generation AI, marking a shift in how we see the impact of AI moving forward. The emphasis on using AI to drive effectiveness over using it just for better productivity gains, especially through the lens of AI as a teammate, offers a fresh perspective on leveraging technology for individual and collective advancement.
The summit also shed light on AWS’s sustainability efforts and we learned about Project Kuiper , which aims to enhance global broadband connectivity with the use of 3,200 satellites. Hearing about AWS commitment to guide us toward a more sustainable and equitable world inspired the whole team.
